The promise of an unparalleled culinary journey… This is what Yakuza Paris offers, the restaurant of the Maison Albar Hotels – Le Vendome, inviting gourmets and gourmands to discover the chef’s cuisine Olivier da Costabetween Japan and the Mediterranean.
After the unprecedented success of a first collaboration at Maison Albar Hotels – Le Monumental Palace in 2020, in Portugal, with Yakuza Portothe chef returns to Paris and offers cuisine that is as gourmet as ever, all in an intimate setting, with walls tinted with street art and dimmed lights, inspired by the Yakuza-culture and imagined by the architect Fabien Roques.
For those who don’t have time to hang around, at lunchtime, Yakuza offers a express menu at €45, served in 45 minutes. An ideal formula for eat quickly without skimping on quality and quantity, since the menu consists of a miso soup comforting, of a trio of vegetable and chicken gyozasof a chirashi like a small painting, very generously served, with sashimis of fresh and tender fish, and a hot drink, tea or coffee.
For aesthetes who wish, on the contrary, to take the time to discover the best of japanese cuisineYakuza’s daring menu includes many exclusive and surprising creations, both convivial and refined and contemporary: sushi and sashimi prepared in a traditional or revisited way, sakana tacos with fish, Gyozas, makizushi, gunkan, tempura and other dishes from robatathe Japanese grill… Something to enjoy or discover new flavors!
And as a signature dish, the Kobe’s Gunkan with Wagyu, foie gras, onion confit and teriyaki, for a chic and gourmet culinary moment. Three small bites that make your lunch or dinner a moment of pure gastronomy… and pure pleasure!
On the dessert side, you can also be tempted by the Kit-Kat chocolate mousseor by the green tea fondant with sesame ice cream. A beautiful plate that it would be fashionable not to refuse, to end this meal in style.
A menu that we were able to test… The cuisine is of incomparable finesse, the products of unequaled freshness, with sushi, maki and sashimi served by the minute. We were offered to discover a whole selection of dishes and plates as tasty as each other: Gyozas, Fish Tacos, Lobster Spring Rollsselection of sashimidifferent varieties of Gunkan maki (have a hint of caviar, please!) and nigiri… Everything is extremely well balanced, very fine on the palate.
We particularly appreciate the food/wine pairing, which is very interesting. We also recommend the sake to end this meal in style with the dessert, sea food, one of the only sake produced by a woman in Japan. A drink that is reminiscent of certain Sauvignons, for all lovers of good wines… And of course, special mention to the Kobe’s Gunkan with Wagyu and its touch of foie gras, melting in the mouth. A real treat for the taste buds, and the ideal dish for a successful lunch or dinner!
Note that every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, a DJ set accompanies your dinner, for a most festive moment! And for a more intimate moment, a private lounge is also available, which can accommodate up to 8 people. A beautiful place for your more professional lunches, with colleagues or with your clients… Unless you prefer a more intimate setting for your family, on the occasion of a special event to celebrate. A great address, anyway, to discover exceptional fusion cuisine at the table or at the counter, to savor without moderation!
