Plans for getting some fresh air and time in the Gironde pampa

Many structures, such as the Gironde department, Bordeaux Métropole or environmental protection associations, offer outings in the great outdoors for the whole family. From this weekend, many activities will be available, on the territory of the Metropolis and throughout the Gironde.

The Gironde is committed to the protection and enhancement of sensitive natural areas (ENS). By offering in particular this weekend many “visits with free access, or accompanied by naturalist guides”, for the whole family. Over the spring-summer 2022 season, the department will offer 3,000 events throughout its territory, thus allowing the public to discover preserved sites while being aware of the environment. These events, mostly free, will be provided by guides from the Department or partner structures.

Other structures are offering outings related to fauna and flora this season, such as Bordeaux Métropole, which has just opened its Parc des Jalles, the nature protection association Cistude Nature, or even SEPANSO (federation of associations for the protection of nature and the environment in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region). Small selection of walks to do in nature with the family, to discover all the aspects of the local fauna and flora.
